IMMIGRATION ADVICE SERVICES LIVING IN GHANA
In response to nationals and immigrants-migrants and refugees and members of their families in Ghana, Africa on Immigration Advice services, MLGWUI-FFMRC extended its’ services to provide information on Legal, Employment, Industrial Relations, Labour Migration and Regional Reintegration solutions and ensure everybody can have access to high-quality credible advice and affordable assistance when need arises.
We offer free, confidential and independent legal advice and representation on Asylum Seeking and Statelessness and/or employment relations.
MLGWUI-FFMRC provides legal representation and advice to Migrant Workers, Asylum Seekers and Refugees. We enjoy a very high success rate working with our Members or Clients, and pride ourselves on high levels of Members and Client care.
Our advice telephone lines offer free 24-hour legal advice to Migrants, Asylum Seekers, Refugees, Expatriates and individuals or organisations who work to support their Members or Members of Staff.
The Information that Callers give us and the Advice that we give is confidential.
To ensure that our Advice is accurate we usually ask Callers questions about their Immigration Status in the Ghana, African and Diaspora. If you call, please be prepared to answer detailed questions.
Immigrant Workers’ Legal Services Include
· Asylum Claims and Appeals, including further representations after their initial claim or appeal has been unsuccessful.
· Applications and Appeals on behalf of Asylum Seeking children who are seeking to extend their permission to remain in Ghana.
· Applications and Appeals on behalf of Members who are in fear or unable to return to their countries of origin and are seeking to regularize their immigration
status.
· Applications for Family Unification when a person has been recognised as a Refugee or granted humanitarian protection.
· Applications for Bail or challenges to the lawfulness of detention to secure release or damages for people held in prison.
· Applications for Emergency Injunctions to prevent existing members being forcibly removed.
· Applications for Existing Members who require help to obtain travel documentation or naturalize as citizen.
We specialize in representing women, who make up at least 50% of our members or Clients. All women members or Clients are offered the choice of having a woman legal
representative.

Our Complaint Portal is a free resource for Stateless Person, any groups. It is designed to help them to understand the relevant laws and procedures, and helps them to find assistance and other useful resources.
